Hi Meebee
What you have said is so true. Brian was also a different person when on stage. He could belt out the numbers with his own band and sing in front of an audience but said four words at his daughters wedding. It was suggested he sang his speech.
I can believe that about Freddie Mercury. I met two comedians (well known), One was the funny loud one and the other the quiet one but off stage they was completely the opposite and swapped places in real life.
What a pity you can’t take up acting again or even volunteer for an amateur group.
Take care

Dear Pattdot
I was just wondering if he and his band sang at your daughters wedding? Either way I am sure she is glad of these memories she has of her dad just now and i am glad that you have each other to lean on and reminisce with. I forget having spoken to so many people on here (and also because I have an appalling memory) do you have grandchildren? Acting is not for me just now as I tried to do it professionally when younger and it kind of died in me as I continued in normal life but I started in amateur theatre. I watched a couple of fine actresses who never started until they had already retired and that idea is appealing to me so maybe one day when I am old and grey.
