Any bereavement groups?

Goodmorning everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone knows of any bereavement groups running in Dorchester Dorset? I lost my Dad suddenly to cancer June 2020 and I’m finding it really hard to cope with,I was just hoping there’s a group near where I live to be able to go and hopefully start healing,and to be with people who also are living with this pain so we can help each other x

Hi Kate, can I suggest a few places you can look, local library, free local newsletter and local church. There is website that gave this kind of information but I honestly can’t remember the name. Also your local Facebook group often advertise that kind of group or even ask on the site but I am sure you will find one or even two. Also GP surgeries often have notices or maybe able to help. They are a lifeline for many and I live in a small village and we have two groups of different ages. S xx

I think the website Susie is referring to is ataloss.org they have a search function for local support
