I lost my brother sadly at the age of 24 I am so sad every day / night I cry I just can’t believe he is gone kyle was born with cerebal palsy and we almost lost him at birth then again at 5 but he was a fighter he was loved by everyone his smile could light up the room he needed 24hr care he just loved people my life was blessed with him in it now he’s gone my heart breaks he’s been gone 6 months now I cry every day he will be with his mum now my step mum passed 10 years ago only comfort I have knowing they are together I miss him every day

Hello Rusky, How sad that after fighting for so long, he still had to leave you. It’s heartbreaking to have that knowledge that they will not live into old age but by the sound of your post, not only was he loved but he loved everyone.
You say it’s 6 months and you don’t feel that you are progressing down the horrible road of grieving, if so why not think of counselling, ok it doesn’t work for everyone and sometimes it’s better to have two goes but it just may get you over the worst feelings you have at present. Sue Ryder and Cruse do have a free service and so do some organisations which your bother may have had connections with. Please look into it because life is to short to be unhappy for any length of time. You have been so brave by posting and acknowledging that you have a problem and a small step forward is worth so much. You are very welcome to post and read others post because both of those things will help. You take care S xx

Thank you so much he was loved by everyone my dad took him everywhere and every year we had a garden party with live acts at the house he has a legacy Kyles secret animal garden party we will continue every year, I will seek help thank you so much
