Cards and gifts after someone dies: share your thoughts

Hi everyone,

As many of you will know from personal experience, when someone dies, people often send cards, flowers, gifts or messages to show they care. We’re trying to better understand what genuinely feels comforting to people who are grieving, and what may not help as much as intended.

If you feel comfortable doing so, we’ve put together a short questionnaire which will take around 3-5 minutes to complete, and we’d really value hearing your thoughts. The survey is expected to close around 19th June.

Your responses will help Sue Ryder, and a small number of trusted partners, explore how to support people through grief in ways that feel thoughtful, meaningful, and sensitive to what people really want.

Thank you for helping with this :blue_heart:

Hi everyone,

I firstly wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who taken the time to fill in this survey - we’ve had an amazing 1,742 responses so far.

The survey will be closing this Friday, so there’s still time to share your thoughts if you haven’t already.

Thanks so much again for your help, it really is appreciated.

Harriet
