Hello, my dad has been in hospital since friday they say hes got a mass on his liver they said its cancer this morning. Hes getting a stent fitted tomorrow under anesthetic to alleviate the symptoms and biopsy but its a waiting game really. Its terrifying. Especiall when he keeps saying if i come home! I just dont know how to cope with this i keep bursting into tears
Hi Kitty,
Such a difficult time for you all. Keep talking and get all the support you can ,from the hospital or McMillan nurses . Try and talk to your dad and if he wants to talk about his illness and worries if you can let him. I’m sure he’s as frightened and worried as you are.
Don’t worry about crying it’s much better to let your feelings out than covering them all up.
