Dealing with child loss.

Hi. I’m a 27 y/o woman. I lost my baby when I was 14.

Please bear w me, I’m more than a little drunk atm. I’ve never, ever talked abt him publicly. I told my partner about him yesterday, on what would’ve been his sixteenth birthday. She’s been amazing.

I realised afterwards that I’m tired of hiding him. The grief has suddenly hit me like a freaking freight train.

Hello Assh, so sorry for the loss of your baby, ..it must have been very hard for you to have kept your loss hidden . It helps the grieving process to be able to talk about the pain of having lost your loved one, that’s part of the healing process. I hope you start to feel better, you seem to shave a loving partner. Take care and God bless you :folded_hands:

I am truly sorry to hear you lost baby at such a young age. You being drunk and you telling us is the first step into acknowledging and healing no matter the circumstances. Say his name, and start speaking about him he is a part of you and will always be. After we loose a child they remain within us. Be kind to yourself X
