Hi Janey, wasn’t quite sure how this long bank holiday was going to go. Yesterday married friends that I used to work with visited. In the afternoon I was helping at a old time sing along at church, so was on my feet for five hours, setting up tables, servicing food and washing up and clearing away. Really tired when I got home so I think that is why little bit fragile today.
But I am going to our street BBQ this afternoon, taking my neighbour who isn’t well and needs support. Doug would have loved all this, he would have loved to see one of our granddaughters dancing at party in the park on Sunday.
This long bank holiday is difficult for all of us, as you said we cope better with normal routines.
