Tomorrow is exactly one year since I lost my lovely, kind, thoughtful wife after 33 years of marriage. To make things worse, I’m in hospital myself at the moment having had an operation yesterday. Being in here gives me too much time to dwell on things and I’m anticipating a rough ride tomorrow.

My wife passed away two weeks ago we were together for 40 years - I hope your stay in hospital will be a short one and the operation was successful, try and get through the day as well as you can my thoughts are with you
@Mikeypfc23, first anniversaries are hard just had mine in March, made all the worst because I had covid and had to isolate. So I can understand how you are dreading it. I hope you recover quickly so you can be back home surrounded by all your precious memories. I’ll be thinking of you tomorrow.
@Pete47, I’m so sorry for your lost, so new and raw for you, forty years is a long time, so many memories. Just one step at a time is all we can do to survive this horrible journey we find ourselves on.
