Feeling sad

Hello Yorkie247
I am sorry you are feeling so alone and lost. I do know that feeling because I have felt it so often myself. I know all the feelings you have but for me I am lonely for the one person I love. I want him back for the company and connection we had.
We never had children so we only had each other so I do know how it feels to love and be loved. People don’t understand that. I was only 63 when he died and he was 67. We expected to grow old together but it wasn’t to be.
I have started bereavement counselling now. I tried it once before but it was too soon for me. It was only 6 months after he died. Now it’s two and a half years. I need to try something because everybody is carrying on with their lives and I’m just stuck. I miss all the things you miss but I miss them with him. I sometimes think I would just like to hear one more stupid joke that he has forgotten the end of.
I just hope you can find something to help you not to feel so desperate. Coming on here is my way of thinking I have friends that understand me when people on the outside world don’t.
Take care

Sorry for the late reply, Mini1. Thank you. I wish more than anything that I could turn back time and be with my wife again. She was my world — perfect in every way, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to share my life with. I miss her every single day, more than words can ever say. I hope things are getting easer for you Mini1
