Just hope my niece isn’t there when you are. Whenever she has been to the canaries the weather has been truly terrible. It’s usually wonderful any time of year.

@Nicenursenic . I’ve never been but it is the hottest of the islands at Christmas I have read . I am so glad I’ve booked it I can’t face Xmas without him . He used to light up the whole house and gardens .

Yes that why mum suggested it - she read it was the warmest. I am not looking forward to Christmas at all in terms of all the stuff in the shops, the constant TV ads & everyone being full of Christmas cheer.
I’m afraid it will be bah humbug for me this year in terms of decorations etc. He used to put all the outside lights & reindeers up & we loved Christmas time. I guess it’s a ‘first’ that we have to go thru🤷🏼♀️
