My mum died 7 weeks ago. My dad is now alone after 54 years together. I’ve just spoken to him and he has bought himself a cookbook. Mum did all the cooking. It broke my heart that he’s now doing it all alone. He does keep himself busy. But nothing can take that pain away. And I doubt it ever will. Do you have family and friends nearby.
