Hello

Hello I lost my husband to brain cancer a month ago. Doing the best I can to manage the physical pain and anxiety. Taking beta blockers to help with the anxiety but wondering if others have sought structured support this early in? May be that just talking to those in the same situation is the best medicine? Thankyou for reading

I am so very sorry for your loss and you have done the right thing coming to this forum. We are all travelling the same lonely road trying to process our losses and missing our loved ones. I am 6 months into the process and I am only now starting to feel slightly better , those first few months are so hard. I hope you have good family and friends who can support you , talking is good and especially on here as everyone understands. Take care

Does anyone find herbal teas with Valerian for example help with sleep, mine is so poor at the moment and seems to be getting worse

Hi Emms1 you could try a natural tablet from Boots called Sleepease they come in 25mg or 50mg , I have never been a good sleeper but I find they do help, worth a try . I hope you are trying to take care of yourself although I know how difficult that is especially at such an early stage.

Hi I lost both my parents in the last 12 month! My mum in August am finding life a struggle and sleep a lot! Have started antidepressants and still not at work I have a stressful job in NHS! I don’t feel I will ever be ok again! Am awaiting counselling but struggling with life! X
