Hello,
This December, Sue Ryder is inviting people to remember their loved ones at a series of winter remembrance events which will be held across the country.
Celebrate a Life offers the chance for people to come together with family, friends and others in the community who are also living with loss. The gatherings provide a space to celebrate the lives of people who have died and the opportunity to remember some special memories of those who meant so much to us.
All Celebrate a Life events are free to attend and welcome anyone. The events will feature:
- Live music, readings and poems
- Moments for peaceful reflection
- An invitation for guests to commemorate someone special by sharing a message which will be displayed on a dedication screen during the event
Doors open half an hour before each event begins, and there will be refreshments and nibbles provided.
There are four remembrance events taking place in 2025:
-
Celebrate a Life Leeds, Leeds City Museum on the 7th December from 2:00pm - 3:30pm
-
Celebrate a Life Gloucestershire, Parabola Arts Centre on the 4th December from 7:00pm - 8:30pm
-
Celebrate a Life Thames Valley, The Barn, on 7th December from 4.00pm - 5.30pm
-
Celebrate a Life Aire Valley, East Riddlesden Hall, 3rd December from 6:30pm - 8:00pm
There is no cost to attend these events, but spaces are limited so please book your place today.
And if you can’t make any of the in-person events, you are invited to celebrate your loved one on our virtual Celebrate a Life memory wall.
Take good care,
Seaneen
