Move going well at the moment. Double bed in loft extension was a b*gger to get down but they did it.
Good thing is that they are travelling down tonight so will be there first thing tomorrow

That is good news, we all need a catch up night occasionally. I didn’t think my pond weed tablets were helping me sleep until I didn’t take them a few nights. They are actually sleepeze herbal tablets from boots but taste awful (hence me calling them pond weed) they can’t hurt, maybe give them a try x

Well the sky looks threatening gone colder too. I’m preying for @Johnr that the rain stays away for his drive to Wales as he set off awhile ago now hopefully will be ok,
Well I’ve had a busy morning. I went to the gym for my workout boy that trainer knows how to get every last ounce out of you. I then drove to a shop where I had seen an outfit I liked but couldn’t make my mind up so this time went back and tried it on. But I ended up spending a small fortune on several items. I’m meant to be careful with money well so much for that 
Then on the way home popped in the polling station but I had forgotten my ID so came home then decided to walk back, it’s good for you right? So then did my vote and did a bit of an extra walk. Came back and for my lunch I went Mediterranean and made a delicious seafood salad of squid prawns and mussels with cherry tomatoes and cucumber with a little mozzarella. I’m now stuffed. My Vic didn’t like fish, unless in batter, which is funny as his hobby was fishing so I didn’t tend to have it at home much.
I’m going to have a break now may watch a bit of celebrities go dating then I have to do some housework.

Oh Catherine what a day, you’ve tired me out just reading it.
I have walked along the canal to buy supplies (guests for the weekend) mowed three lawns and attempted and failed everything else I’ve tried. I can see packing is going to be a job I need help with, I can’t throw anything away. Every item has a memory attached. Maybe I just need to buy more suitcases.
I’ll water the garden I think. The garden is the only place I don’t cry.

I’m in Wales just taking a break in Magor services.
Move has completed and my mate is picking up the keys,. I am only 13 miles away but about to fill up the car.
Removal boss man said it was the most organised move he has ever done in 30 years, so many thanks to Catherine who did the majority.

@Johnr told me his removal company were impressed with our packing. When I do a job I give it 1000% I know that if I ever moved to downsize it will be hard as I have accumulated items from both sets of parents plus Vic’s things which I still can not/will not get rid of. My house is big enough to keep it all unless like I say if I move then I may have to ask John to return the favour.
Anyway @Helen39 you say my day sounded busy, yours made me tired reading it

I need tips on how throw things out please. When everything has a memory how do we part of with it? I’ve unpacked two suitcases of things I put away while the house was being renovated, I’ll probably never wear again. Holiday clothes, wedding outfits both mine and Stephens. I can’t keep them all.
Deciding on a new house is hard on your own. I’m leaving my beautiful house and garden and there’s hardly anything on the market to chose from. I have viewings booked for the weekend and some for next week, even just to rule them out. Thanks for asking x

I feed the birds and get lots of birds in the garden. I sit watching them from my dining kitchen. It’s a relaxing thing to do . Hope you have a pleasant afternoon.
