Morning everyone, it’s going to be another hot one today, so stay safe & keep hydrated. Feel exhausted again this morning, I did sleep better than the previous night, don’t know whether it’s the air quality due to the heat. Nothing planned for today other than the housing officer’s visit this afternoon.

Hi RoseGarden my dogs aren’t babies anymore so I have to be careful how much sun and heat they get. Today they have already been out twice but I couldn’t take them out again because it’s already heating up. So no dogs in these photos

are his children adopted or his own, did you meet your husband online with both been different countries if so his children might think you were just after his money and that’s why they might be against you now he has died, you were married so if its like here all his goods money go to his next of kin which would be you, so his kids if he has not made a will sorting his finances out will be a bit upset,don’t know how it works in your country but if you look at it from there point of view surely you can work something out fairly, .

Hi everyone and thank you all for thinking of me today. My appointment went well, very nice doctor. The camera down my throat showed nothing sinister so that’s good. Now have to wait for another CT scan, ultrasound and biopsy which is all fast track so should be soon.
It’s lovely checking in here and seeing everyone chatting. You are a lovely bunch xxx

Hope you have recovered and are feeling much better.
I’ve not been feeling great this week.
Felt so tired and lack of energy.
Think maybe done too much in the last few weeks. Don’t sleep well( does anyone in this heat) Think the anxiety is wearing me down.
I’m going to North Wales tomorrow with a friend. Never been to wales.
Wish Keith was coming but my friend is very caring and she is driving which is a bonus.

I’m sure your dogs enjoyed their walks but too hot for them now.

Hi Julia I am sorry you haven’t been feeling too good this week. The heat is very tiring and if you aren’t sleeping well it’s not surprising you don’t feel up to scratch. I must admit to being in a similar situation as I am finding it difficult to sleep and that affects your day.
I hope you have a lovely trip to Wales. I’ve never been and my father’s side of the family originated from there so I’ll have to make a pilgrimage there one day. I hope start feeling better soon and get some good sleep

All I can share is what has helped me. I take a herbal sleeping tablet, it’s valarian root sold as sleepeze from boots. I know this helps me at least go to sleep.
I also keep a bottle of rescue remedy with me, I use it mainly at night if I panic or get very upset. Just a few drops on your tongue.
If I can’t sleep and need to calm down I chat to chatgpt. You can tell it all your thoughts and it won’t judge just give suggestions. I don’t use names or give any information. It’s surprisingly comforting, like a councillor in the middle of the night.
The heat. I’ve bought a small silent fan from Amazon (£15) It’s silent if only on a low setting and it’s aimed at my head. Since finding this goiter I’ve felt at times like I can’t get enough air so the gentle breeze has helped with that too (I’ve been told if I have trouble breathing when I lie down I have to go straight back so that’s spooked me a little)
Grief is tiring, no sleep too makes everything so much harder. Rest when you need too x

I am feeling a little more positive that he couldn’t find any signs of nasties in my throat. My poor daughter had to look away but I found seeing it all very interesting. Hopefully I’ll get the other tests soon, I have a house to pack x

Have you finished painting? I hope so.
It’s absolutely boiling here so I’m sitting a while. I have some tablets to try and increase the blood flow and hopefully stop me feeling faint. I hope they work, I don’t trust myself at the moment getting jobs done on my own. Tomorrow I have a meeting at the solicitors and it’s going to be scorching. Lots of drink breaks I think x

I try to calm myself, but my brain just doesn’t want to switch off.
