I lost my mum in 2012 and it was very quick and I just feel so alone even now, it would have been her birthday on the 9th September and I thought I better text her to. Say happy birthday then realised she is not here I love her and miss her everyday, if anybody has any therapies or advice on how to cope I would be grateful as right now I am not coping at all thanks xxx
Welcome to the Sue Ryder Online Community. I’m so sorry to hear that you lost your mum. There’s no set timeline on grief, and it’s natural that you still miss her very much.
I hope that being part of this community can help you to feel a little less alone - there are lots of people here who understand the grief of losing a parent.
