This morning on the BBC news I watched the story of 10 year old Immy.
She is raising fund for a hospice by walking the equivalent of the distance between Lands End and John O’ Groats to raise money in memory of her mother. What an amazing girl she is.
Her mother died of cancer last year and she wanted to do something back for the hospice team that had been amazing in helping the whole family through a difficult time.
There is so much sad news at the moment that it is heartwarming to hear a story like this, and to know that even out of deep tragedies something good can come.
I would love to hear more stories like this.
