Hi all. I am new to this community although not new to grief. I lost my Dad to cancer in June 2023 (he was 68) then I lost my Mum 3 months later to cancer again (aged 58). Time has gone on and it still feels so hard. I havent come across many people who have lost 2 loved ones so close and it feels super lonely. I’m only 35 and it feels like a long time left without them if anyone has been through the same thing I’d love to chat
Hello @Kelloggs,
Thank you for bravely starting this thread. I’m so sorry for the loss of your mum and dad - that is devastating.
You are not alone. Sadly, many of our members have experienced the loss of both their parents and will understand some of what you’re going through. @Kerrylou925 started this thread a few days ago about her mum and dad - maybe you can connect with each other.
@Heather_28 also talks about the loss of her parents close together on this thread. They’re 37, which is close in age to you.

I hope you find the community a support to you. Take good care and keep reaching out,

Thanks so much
