Hi, sorry you are suffering so much sadness, it’s so hard isn’t it? I lost my Mum back in January and the grief has been a rollercoaster. Some days are okay and then others are hard to get through. You’re still in the early days so be kind to yourself. Take time to process your loss because adapting will be a long journey. Distraction activities can be useful so that you don’t feel completely overwhelmed by grief. Going out for a walk, watching TV, even just doing simple tasks can shift your mood a bit. I found the online information and advice about grief helpful too. There’s certainly no easy answer unfortunately. Best wishes xx

Hello,
I’m so sorry for your loss :broken_heart:
How are you doing today?
I lost my mum four weeks ago and have very much the same sentiments. I had an initial call just now with ‘talking therapies’ and I was a huge, blubbering mess and it ended up causing me a headache so I came on here to read everyone else’s posts and get me out of the darkness. I should start the actual sessions soon and I feel a bit better knowing there is a professional I can share my feelings with and know that if things get worse, I’ll have help along the way. Your GP should be able to refer you if it’s something you’re interested in but I know Sue Ryder also offers counselling. Sending you love
