I lost my husband 5 weeks ago after 55 years of marriage. The pain is overwhelming and I am really struggling to cope. He had health issues for many years but always dealt with them with a smile on his face. I find trying to fill my time helps me but it can be exhausting.

@Goldie123 sorry for your loss. 55 years is such a long time together. I lost my husband 6 months ago and we were married nearly 35 years. I feel like I’ve lost part of me, so can only imagine how difficult you must be finding this. Take care.
Hello Goldie,
I am so sorry for your loss!!! I am sure you will find here a friendly and comforting group of people, who will feel with you and understand what you are going through. My husband of almost 32 years (he passed on Aug. 17th, exactly a month before we would have had our 32nd anniversary, on Sept. 17th. I find that talking to others, even strangers, does help:bouquet:
