Hi everyone
I lost my dad last week to decompensated alcoholic liver disease with 3 other contributing factors.

I really miss him. I was the last member of my family to see him alive and the first to see him after his death.

I was his sole carer for almost 8 years.

Sorry for your loss, I lost my Dad five weeks ago and there’s nothing that makes it better.
The best thing I’ve found so far is being around friends as much as possible. Whenever I’m left alone, I just sit and cry and break my heart over him. Like you, I was also a carer to my Dad and he was my best friend.

It’s awful there are no words.
