Lost my husband

I lost my husband 9 weeks ago he was the love of my life a half of me, we had been together since we was 17. So together for 39 years.

To say 2023 has been a rough year is an understatement I lost my mum 4th May and my husband was diagnosed with Matatasis Oesophagus cancer which had spread to his liver on the 5th June.

He died at home in my arms on 4th October.
I could never have imagined how hard loosing him would be and everyday is worse.

Yes sending you love too. My parents died many years ago so when I lost my husband last year I still feel devastated and struggling and reminds me of not having others as well.

So sorry for your loss. Like me its early days. I lost my husband in Seprember 10 days from diagnosis to him passing. I am devastated. As people say you need to be kind to yourself and just focus on each day. I find morning worse. Been awakw since 5. Must have been dreaming about Steve, because when I woke up I remembered he’d gone and it now feels like I have lost him again. Sorry for the long reply. Xx
