My wife passed away suddenly, and I was not there for her in time (it took me two days or so to get there and find her)
She always said I was “her rock” and always solid in support. I suppose I will do the same again. I have ordered a stone for her, and written an an original poem.
It’s not perfect, but it’s the best I can do.
and… if some lady I encounter wants a relationship, I will consider that…

Dearly beloved wife
Always kind and good-hearted
Always happy and delighted
Sleep well – till we meet again

The other half of the stone is left blank for when I join her. I do not know what epitaph they will give me; that will be up to my relatives when the time comes. Not for a while yet, all being well.
