One is meant to write a second chapter and rebuild oneself. I simply don’t know how. Someone to people together are so much stronger than one alone. Conversations are richer and more interesting. Just having someone to share good and bad wirh makes alll the difference.
Ar 56 I am battling to find other singles to be with. Couples and families are all busy ans have each other.
ANYBODY wanting to correspond, please do. My life is too dull now ans somehow not sure how to spruce it up alone.
Hope to hear from a few.. maybe we can get to know each other..

I’m so sorry that it feels like you’re struggling to find other people who understand your experience, and that other couples and families are too busy.
There are many people here who will be able to relate to how you’re feeling, such as this recent thread which I can see that you’ve posted on.
I’m sure others will be along to offer their support, but I just wanted to let you know that you have been heard and you are not alone.

I agree with everything you’ve said here. I’m so sick of seeing couples everywhere and miss my Ray so desperately. He passed away 7 months ago after a short illness of pancreatic cancer. He had just turned 60, 12 days previously. Part of me died with him, I don’t know who I am anymore.

Yes we need company and I find it difficult on my own. I have friends who are single but divorced and it’s not the same as being widowed. We didn’t choose this life.
