Today I haven’t been very well I suffer from IBS and today is bad. It seems so much more tougher when there’s on one to look after you . Jim would have looked after me and helped with the pain but now I have to struggle to get a drink and hot water bottle when all I feel like is staying in bed. It took me half an hour to get up and get a glass of water. Also I have two dogs to look after I’m really struggling

It is so hard being on your own when you are feeling poorly. It hit home with me at new year when I had a bad chest infection. Nobody to look after you or just make you a cuppa.

Hi Misprint.
I too had IBS yesterday and all day today. I normally see my friends today and we spend all day together but I couldn’t get out of bed. To make it worse I noticed that the carpet in my hall was soaking wet yesterday but I didn’t have the energy to sort it out. Also my dog has picked up fleas and I had to spray all my furnishings and treat him. Sometimes I just want to scream especially when I am ill.
It is horrible when there is no one there to make a hot water bottle or a cup of tea. Everything seems double the trouble.
When Ron was here ge was my safeguard.
