I talk to them a lot every day and they respond. Posie (on the left) missed Viv for nearly 9 months and didn’t do anything but lay on the setee, I thought I might have to rehome her but she has now come back to me and barks at me if she wants to go out.

Gorgeous xx like book ends.

They are like book ends and always have been. They are not not related but the same age within a month (She February, He March, 2015). They’re are so much there for each other, hardly ever apart. They keep me going every day, I will tell you more about them if you want, don’t want to be a bore though. I could go on about them endlessly because they are my best friends and we are there for each other. It helps a lot to have them here.

They are lovely :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:. We had Coco from a pup about 10-12 weeks old. Posie came to us when her owner chucked her out one night when she was nearly 2 years old. Coco knew her as she lived over the road. She gets on very well with him and he looks after her. It’s nice to see them get on so well together. We are now a unit with a regular routine. x

My little munchkin Gracie, 4 months old and full of mischief. Got her after my husband passed away and she’s such a comfort to me and gives me a reason to get up in the mornings.

She is beautiful I hope she brings you as much pleasure, as mine do. As you say it gives you a reason to get up (albeit 3am) if they need to do something!

Lost my dear husband/best friend/soulmate George suddenly July 2022. Still feel numb, and can’t even cry much. Found counselling very helpful, but still can’t believe it really, and if he walked back through the door I wouldn’t be surprised - even though rationally, I know he won’t. Our dogs were always a huge part of our lives, and still are a huge part of mine. It was sad watching them grieve for their beloved Dad too

but they’re more settled now. Pablo is 8 1/2yrs & is a Patterdale X Jack Russell. Millie is a rescue lurcher & is about 5yrs. It’s lovely hearing how other folks’ dogs are their saviours too, & seeing some pics! Thinking of you all, as we share our grief journeys.
