I like Nana Mouskouri’s music. She is a Greek singer from year’s ago. Her clear haunting voice singing beautiful timeless songs and lyrics full of pathos.

Aww I love her too. I have wonderful memories of my mum playing her songs. Wow that has taken me back almost 55 yrs if I am right.
Blast from the past.
Can’t remember the titles of her songs but will Google them.

My darling brave wife suffered from Parkinson’s disease, Diagnosed in 1994, Deep Brain stimulation 2008. I was her only carer we did everything together went out lots. I listen to music to go to sleep, usually country. I must have been almost asleep when Dolly Parton cam on with “I will always love you” The lyrics “If I should stay, I would only be in your way, So I’ll go,” Really upset me. My Darling wife was never in my way, I did not want her to go, I wish I was still looking after her.

I had the Whitney Houston version at Rogers funeral

I too prefer country music. but I have to be very careful what I listen to now. I make my own lists of songs I like, but ones that won’t upset me

Today is the anniversary of Rogers funeral. Its very hard
