I feel at a complete loss and find myself here in this community. My mum who was only 66 was on holiday in Turkey at the beginning of October , she unfortunately fell and fractured her neck, she deteriorated and passed away in Turkey.
I am struggling with the thoughts of how she was managed abroad as they have no concept of palliation and the trauma of getting her home due to the difficulties we encountered. I was so grateful myself and my sisters and her brother were able to get our there but I just feel guilty that I could have done more. They wouldn’t let us see her except for 5 minutes on 2 occasions and she passed without us by her side and this troubles me

I am so sorry for you loss hug to you and your family try not to beat youself up you went out to turkey to be with her reach out friends on here they seem to know just how you are feeling and can comfort you along your next journey
