Too much loss

I’m struggling feb 2nd I lost a friend who called me mum he had learning difficulties and my partner and I looked after him
In April we flew to the USA to say goodbye to a dear friend struggling with cancer
On return my horse (that I’d owned for 23 years ) had to be put down
In May my twin brother died suddenly and unexpectedly of heart failure
My relationship with my partner is today in tatters and I feel absolutely broken
I can see now way forward or out of this knowing my friend in the USA won’t recover and losing my brother shocking and awful
We lost our mum at 26 I’m all things to all people and I’m fed up with it but how do I carry in

Hello @Doris68c,

I can see that you’re new to the community, so I wanted to say that I am so sorry for the loss of your friend and your twin brother that brings you here.

I’m sure someone will be along to offer their support, but I wanted to share a few Sue Ryder resources with you that may help you right now.

Thank you again for sharing – please keep reaching out and know that you are not alone.

Take care,

Alex

You are at a low low point. But you will go on. Time goes on. Bend don’t break. Do you have other friends to talk to? I had many losses but I attend a singles group and other groups, and have made new friends. For me, I must carry on. Allow things to sort themselves out on their own, as they will and I am so sorry for your losses.
