Having been diagnosed with Prostate, Lung and now Brain cancer, I am a single male living alone.
I have no idea what the the immediate future let alone what the long term (if any) The ALK cancer is very aggressive with no real cure, only medication whilst it is proving positive.
I am slowly with the help of my children getting my affairs in order.
I lived an active life up until last year, this has really come to a pretty much standstill now.
It’s the Radiotherapy that does the damage to tissue ( a surgeon’s nightmare)
I have started knitting hats and scarves, hey ho.
I very comfortable at the moment.
Sharing I found is very helpful.
I have worked up until last year a a voluntary driver and still work for Age UK by chatting to people who would like a conversation from us. I find this very therapeutic and have been phoning for four years now…
