Wow, you live in America? Sorry no need to answer if too personal! Fave film, sleepless in seattle, well, one of many. Lol

No, no, I live in Northumberland, believe me it’s nothing like America

just out to Seattle for work and I have family, my brothers, over there, so staying with them while I’m out. It’s a lovely city but can be very expensive and there’s a LOT of guns on show as it’s an ‘open carry’ state, can be a bit weird. Still there’s also a lot of bears about so I can see the need.

My geography is so bad I once filled in a map of Britain upside down. When I was sent to Prague on business I had to look up where it was. I knew it was in the Czech Republic but where was the Czech Republic.

Thanks Nori, but it appears that to do that I would need to allow access by the parents and I don’t really want to do that, maybe I’m wrong!

Apart from the vehicle that you choose for making sure they get the money it will also be worth checking that your final choice can be left to a beneficiary, some things such as certain pensions can’t as they are discretionary so ask your legal beagle would be my suggestion. Hope it turns out okay as it is what your wife wanted.

I wish, Rich tried to teach me but I just can’t do it. Would help with my walking though lol.

Cheers for that @miker, again a lot of info there I wasn’t aware of. I’ll make sure it turns out ok, as you say it’s what she wanted so I’ll make it work somehow!

@Ali29 I love OS, I always buy one for going places and especially for where I live, especially in England. I’ve found loads of rights of way round where I live that I never knew of and are quite hidden from one of their Explorer series that’s much more detailed. You can even go on their website and order custom made maps with your house or town/village as the centre point. Once you get your head round how they work it’s pretty straightforward. This gives a good explanation of how to read them

OS Beginners Guide

Aw thanks. I have loads of OS maps because Rich was an avid walker and fell runner, years ago. Later life was cycling. Will def have a look. Thanks
