Little things I’ve come to realise

Hi Margarita
I was fortunate that I didn’t have to be a carer until the final months. My husband was able to lead a full and active life but that didn’t stop me from thinking about what might happen. In the final months I was then his carer and kept him at home and cared single handed, just as he wanted.
I was just the opposite to you. I went into overdrive. I am so pleased that you have now managed to feel stronger physically and mentally. You are correct, we do have choices and this lonely road we have to walk is hard but it’s really our decision on how we cope with it.
