James Blunt is great, isn’t he? Thanks Sandra, I love it.

I will add the track later. :musical_note:
[Verse 1]
Well, I’m tired and so weary, but I must go along
'Til the Lord comes and calls me away
Where the morning’s so bright and the Lamb is the light
And the night, night is as fair as the day

[Chorus]
There will be peace in the valley for me some day
There will be peace in the valley for me, oh, Lord, I pray
There’ll be no sadness, no sorrow, no trouble I see
There will be peace in the valley for me

[Verse 2]
Well, the flowers will be blooming and the grass will be green
And the skies will be clear and serene
Where the sun ever beams in this valley of dreams
And no clouds there will ever will be seen

[Chorus]
There will be peace in the valley for me some day
There will be peace in the valley for me, oh, Lord, I pray
There’ll be no sadness, no sorrow, no trouble I see
There will be peace in the valley for me

The words of a beautiful gospel hymn, I wish all of you, PEACE one day.
With my love, Mary XXXX

This song was chosen by our son and daughter as it reflected their Dad’s love for his children and grandchildren :blue_heart: I dedicate it now to all the loving men we have lost who are so remembered on this site. They will be proud of you :blue_heart:

and telling them how much I love Jayne and miss her.and I apologised after for going on and on.but they showed empathy and compassion.removed my wisdom tooth and I walked home.love you baby Jayne xxxxxxxxxxx

Thank you for this song, Kate, it is one of my favourites.
The first time I heard it was about ten years ago, it was played at a very dear friend’s funeral, both Stan and I cried when we listened to the words.

Sandy was a beautiful singer, sadly she passed away in 1978, aged 31  Listen to her singing ā€˜At the end of the day’. We knew her more as the singer with Fairport Convention. They do a cover of ā€˜Knocking on Heavens Doorā€˜ :blue_heart:
