Songs...

Hi everyone, lovely songs here, thank you, I’m going to try some of them on the piano. I often do this when I want to cry out my feelings, especially with Harry Nilsson’s Without You and Unchained Melody. I particularly identify with Roberta Flack’s “The first time ever I saw your face”, too.

This one has a lot of words that echo mine, except for the last part about finding “someone new”. Not me!!

This was the song that started My love affair with Reba McEntire.
I remember the day that Roger came in from work and I and told him I’d heard a really great song. It was the new one by Ruby Murray.
He just laughed and said “I think you’ll find Ruby Murray is dead”
I’d never heard of Reba before that.

For some reason I’ve never forgotten that day, or what he said. Now it’s just a precious memory

Take care

Yeah we have to hold on tight to those precious memories. Knowing we were loved , well still are . I’m sure our partners still love us . :heavy_heart_exclamation:xx

I’m sure they do,

the same as we will always love them.

Which brings me to Whitney Houston…
