11 weeks since my husband passed away

Lost, I am not particularly religious, But it was our vicar who arranged for the Village bereavement cafe. It was him who persuaded me to go to it.
Because of what they do your local vicar would probably know of any bereavement groups round you. Might be worth a chat, they might even consider setting one up, or at least put up a notice to see if anyone is interested.

Was going to suggest that. Or ask Sue Ryder as they have a list.

Hi, I have posted to sue ryder asking why they have no groups in Scotland so will see if they respond…I have contacted onnchurchveho have advised that they dont offer groups but may consider it if ther was enoughnof a requirement fornit. How would they know unless they advertise if this is n33d3d within the area

I know how difficult a time this is when you are having to cope without your beloved person and deal with issues that you don’t want to deal with but have to deal with. One small thing at time , in your time.

Hello @Lost2025,

Our Grief Kind Spaces are in our hospice areas; we currently don’t any hospices in Scotland. We may have groups in the future, but for now, our Grief Kind Spaces are in England only.

You might want to check out the AtALoss website. It is a directory of bereavement support, including support groups. If you click this link then select your region, you can see what bereavement support is available in your area.

I hope you find the support you need :blue_heart:

That’s sad, we have at least three groups in my town - one Sue Ryder and two Church led. Do you have a Cruse councillor as they usually know of groups who meet locally? Hope you find something as it does help to talk. X

Hi Cruise only offer 1-1 in my area unfortunately , its very poor here unfortunately , but will continue to talknon here
