The rain poured the wind whistled
The last thing i said was goodbye
If only id known it was the last thing id get to say
Here i was in the room
Being told nothing could be done
The time had come to let you go
I prayed this day would never come
I stayed a while but couldn’t stay
You took your last breath after a while
