I lost my husband four months ago and the pain is on bearable. Although he had been ill the end was as quick as I watched him take his last breath we were together for 48 years. I don’t know how survive without him. Nobody understands. my family are great but they don’t understand the loneliness I feel inside every day.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your husband, @Jomk. I want to reassure you that you are not alone - sadly, many of our members have experienced the death of their partners and will understand some of what you are going through.
Hopefully someone will be along to offer their support, but I just wanted you to know you have been heard.
Sadly, unless you have experienced this you will never get anywhere near understanding how this feels. This forum is the correct place to communicate with others who understand. I lost my husband 6 weeks ago, I’m devastated and overwhelmed and don’t know his to cope without him, it’s day by day existence, take care x

We all understand how you feel, because we feel the same. This forum has been such a help for me, like you my loss is new, 6 weeks on Wednesday.

I feel so lost and empty just existing everyday. I go to work to relieve the emptiness but everyday is tough
