So so sorry. I do not know the exact time of my husband’s death. Choose not to ask - just too painful. He died as a result of a road traffic accident. The day however is ingrained in my head and if I could I would eliminate it from the calendar permanently.
It will still be very raw for you. I think shock sets in then the various arrangements etc take over. Then when things start to settle the shock wears off and then the reality sets in. Please just take your time, do whatever you have to do to get through the day. I hope that you have family around to support you and your teenage boys.

@Tracy5 I am so sorry for your loss and the heartache you and your boys are going hang on in there I know how hard it is you are a strong woman and you are doing your husband proud he knows how much you love and miss him
I did the same my sister passed away 27th April 2020 at 3 pm in the afternoon for weeks, afterwards, I would wake at 3 am in the morning without fail.
