After having a really good day yesterday going to sleep feeling really positive (I always sleep due to the pain medication I take, a wonderful side effect for me) I woke up feeling “not quite right” I wouldn’t have worried but my friends husband is doing some decorating for me and my friend is extremely vulnerable as she has lupus (a horrible condition) so I did a test and it was positive. Then my grown up daughter who lives with me tested and she is positive too. Just what I needed! Anyway the decorating is abandoned as I have no intention of spreading germs, I have cancelled all other activities and I’m planning a marvel film fest. A bit of Thor and Loki will help me, plus another of my daughters is dropping in an aid package (of chocolate!) I’m realising how lucky I am to have so many good friends and family around. Even our neighbours message me for a shopping list of things they could get me. I feel since losing my husband I have actually got closer to my neighbours who have been so kind - something positive from a horrible situation. I am trying to see something positive in every day, and whilst covid definitely isn’t positive, the love and kindness being shown is
Take care everyone xx

I too had Covid. Wouldn’t have survived without my wonderful neighbours who are like family. They passed tissues and paracetamol through the open window as I needed them and got any shopping I needed. Covid is miserable enough with someone. Absolutely horrid when alone all day. Fortunately my carers still came and we all wore masks. Not sure how I got it as last time I went out was January.

Oh, that really is rotten luck. But I am glad you have some help and support.
I hope you feel better soon.

So sorry you have covid on top of everything else.
My neighbours have been wonderful, too. A blessing to have good, caring neighbours.
