I still find it hard to struggle through another Christmas again without my lovely wife just like many of us on this site to face another Christmas.
This will be my 7th Christmas without her,and I’ve still not found the courage to part with all her lovely clothes I know I need to face that hurdle and not leave everything to my daughter and son in law to sort out

Hi M50, so sorry for your struggle over years. I am not surprised though because I am just the same. my hubby left me one year and three months ago. I still keep his slippers, his hanging clothes in the same place. I only sent away his clothes/shoes that he had never worn. I wear his pajama. his pants… I just feel so cozy.
We made a fairy together in 2023 Xmas, I took her out this year. and decorated a small living Xmas tree yesterday with baubles with our photoes haning on it. I just miss him so much!
Thank you for your kind reply I’m so sorry for your loss your Xmas tree looks nice.
I do still put up a small miniature tree for a couple of days,no one visits now ,I really need to pluck up the courage and sort out my wife’s clothes. I know how you feel Christmas time is always hard I have to put on a brave face for my married daughter when I visit.
