Hi, has anyone seen the film ‘All of Us Strangers’? I’m thinking of going, but expect to be in tears at the end. I wondered if it would help with any healing though.
I’ve actually sworn off films, because I can’t trust them not to include paternal death. I won’t even be able to watch The Lion King any more

I’m sorry Burgled. Maybe it’s easier for me to watch as I lost dad nearly 4 decades ago. I’m sure I wouldn’t have been able to tolerate it for a good while nearer the loss. I still cry when it comes up in films & programmes - I try to hide it…don’t know if the people I’m with notice.
