Hiya , I’m only 19 years old and struggling the loss of my baby girl in utero , I don’t know how to live anymore it’s been a week already and all I’m being told is that it’s going to get better just need to speak to someone

Hello, are you still here checking for replies? I had the same loss of twin girls in utero. They had defects that were not compatible with life. It definitely felt like a death to me at the time and it was quite devestating to me, actually. People say the dumbest, though well meaning, things when this happens (its for the best, it was God’s plan, you’ll have another one, etc)
I remember wondering HOW a loving God could allow unborn infants to suffer. It turned out to be quite a spiritual growth period for me after the grief became manageable. Your grieving is real. Your loss is real. Its not your fault.

Tommy’s support anyone with the loss of a baby. They have a helpline on 0800 0147 800 or email midwife@tommys.org. They also have a baby loss support Facebook group.
Sue Ryder also has some resources which can help you cope with grief.

Thank you , I started a go fund me to help me try and raise some sort of money for her funeral I have had no support whatsoever , I feel like I’m fighting a battle I’m never gonna win , it’s horrible I just don’t understand , I was told baby girl was really healthy the day before I was told her heart had stopped
