Thank goodness the bank holiday weekends are over for now.
Weekends are lonely enough, but the longer bank holiday weekends seem never ending. Try to keep busy but it feels so pointless without my husband. All I see are happy couples and families having a jolly time. Makes my life feel empty and so lonely.
Anyone else feel the same?

@AnneC . for me everything is pointless without my husband. l have no motivation for anything. being housebound and alone doesn’t even give me an option. Sorry not feeling at all upbeat today.

@AnneC absolutely! Hate the weekends now especially the long ones when the weather is good. Everyone with plans, having a jolly old time while we are stuck in this nightmare. I am trying to make an effort to have some structure to weekends as this is when I really struggle. It’s difficult to see family & friends because they usually have their own plans.
