Hi I’m new here. I lost my brother when he was 21 due to suicide. I struggle with this daily. It’s been 6 months since we lost him. No one talks about him anymore and I feel like I’m expected to be okay by everyone. I can only speak to my sister and I don’t want to make her feel worse with my struggles.
Hello @Mt133566,
I can see that you’re new to the community. I hope you find it to be a support to you, but I am so sorry for the loss of your brother that brings you here. It sounds like your grief is very raw, and it’s completely understandable that you’re struggling.
You say you are feeling like everyone expects you to be okay, and you want to protect your sister while managing your own grief. I wanted to share some sources of support that might help you right now.
