My wife volunteered for8 years in our local hospice bookshop. From 1st May to 1st June we planted a peg bearing an image of a gerbera and our lost loved one’s name in a garden of remembrance at the hospice. We all gathered today in community remembrance for our loved ones. We took our pegs home and mine is now “planted” in a pot in the garden in full view of the kitchen window. I feel much closer to her now because she is actually buried next to her parents, 120 miles away. So I feel a little bit better today because that hospice and their lovely staff and community helped , knowing there are so many of us in the same situation. Thanks and hope this helps someone.
