That’s the Ron we know x
Great to hear from you.
Ron said the doctor would be looking at you today.
Good luck! (to you and the doctor )
Live and hugs xxx
I recommend a sprinkling of glitter, Ron. My son has been great, bring stuff in for me. Because I fell while I was out, I had nothing. But he brought Katie’s nighties. So zo am currently wearing a sparkly Tinkerbell nightie. Yesterday it was fluffy pink and white bunnies. And the pressure stockings they put on me are really attractive. Xx
Maybe the doctor will be a real dish and impressed by my attire. Bruises are all the rage this year. Cc
Jane sorry to hear about the infection. Hope it’s sorted soon and you can escape from hospital. At least your humour is still in tact. Oh I love your nighties . I’m sure you look very fetching.
Good luck with the MOT Ron. Hope they treat your big end with respect
Maria what lovely things were said about your husband. He must have been a lovely man
Hope everyone has a good day. I’m off to meet one of our sons for coffee and catch up.
Lucy x
Have a coffee for me. The stuff here has never seen a coffee bean! Or better still, have a Bacardi and coke. Xx
I’m off to the pub today Jane. I’ll have a bacardi and coke for you .
I bet you cheered everyone up with your nighties
Hope you feel better soon
Love and hugs

Well hair now cut. Feels much better apart from hair down my back so I will now itch all day.
Jane. Love the nightwear. Bet you get some funny looks from the nurses.
Lovely sunny and still day. Maple tree outside my window turning beautiful colour.
Now just wait for the gardener.
Groan! Glad to see you back on form, Jane, though I guess you’ll have to postpone the London Marathon for a bit…
Hi Linda, thank you. The WiFi keeps dropping. I can’t wait to get out of here! I hope everyone is keeping well. Sounds like Ron is being a drama llama, any excuse to wear his budgie smugglers. Between you and me, I heard mouse smugglers would be more appropriate. Xx
Have they got you walking yet? I heard that you need to get up and down stairs before they release you even if your house doesn’t have any. That’s the NHS for you.
Morning Jane
So pleased you are getting better.
You must be anxious to get home and be with your Katie.
You will get more sleep and rest when you are finally off the ward.
Will you have any help when you get home?
Thinking of you
Love Doreenxx
Welcome back and sorry to hear about the infection. Glad you still have your sense of humour.
Sandra I hear ya about when your body needs rest. I am listening to mine and doing what it needs. I rested again after a cuppa. Just going to keep resting if I feel I need it today. Not worrying if it means I will be up tonight.
Btw my friends grandson has lymphoma but is treatable. They are waiting to hear if it’s spread so hoping not

That was quite an experience, the nurse was a ringer for Esma Cannon, the doctor was old foreign and doddery and had glasses that would rival the bottom of a milk bottle.
My big end is now my small end, water pump has shrunk and sprays everywhere, left indicator is just dangling all the fluids been drained out, exhaust is noisy and smelly, dipsticks bent and the computer is telling the engine to do things it can’t possibly achieve, good news is the petrol tank gets regularly topped up.
You realise people under a certain age will have no idea who Esme Cannon is.
Sounds as though your MOT provider gave you a good going over. Did you get the free valet too?
Sadly not the radiation burns on the bodywork wasn’t cool enough to wash,so I drove home in 45deg.
Poor Ron xx
I didn’t recognise the name of the actress so looked it up. Yes, definitely recognised her.
Such a tiny actress I am surprised she could reach your big end xx
She stood on the doctors glasses.xx
Sorry Linda I just love the carry on films, they make me laugh.cx
