Hi I’m Chris, I lost my partner and best friend June in May of this year, too covid contracted in hospital, she had secondary cancer, and other underlying conditions that meant that she would not survive the virus. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007,had a mastectomy of 1 breast almost died with the chemotherapy, in fact caused heart failure issues for the remaining of her time,june was only 60 when she passed away
Hi Chris, I am so sorry for your loss. My dad also got Covid, probably when at hospital having his dialysis, sadly for you and me our loved ones couldn’t seld-isolate and had to go into hospital. 60 is no age, and June did so well to battle through all her illnesses over the years, and I am sure you are so proud of her. I am sorry you feel so isolated, hopefully here you will be able to connect with other people who have lost their partners and are going through what you are, please keep posting if you think talking to people will be of help to you.
