Not looking forward to my second Christmas without my dear wife, I am very lonely without her, I have two daughters who don’t live near me, and none of us drive, I had an accident many years ago I live quite rural and there is no public transport here, and I don’t see many people, this Christmas like last year I will be on my own again and won’t see or talk to anyone, apart from my daughters on the phone, I have not done anything to the home for Christmas just don’t have the heart for it anymore

Sorry for your lost,I lost my husband a few months ago, like you on my own nobody to talk to about anything or how we feel, at this time of year,its hard,i know what you are going through, keep talking about her and how you feel on here,you are not alone, take care lolly.

Hi new to the group, belated I know but I’m alone 99.9% of the time and in the wider world people can say aw lonely but have no idea exactly what that is because their lives r so busy, I’ve tried groups but people go with a friend so they don’t work either, if you’d like a chat anytime I would love that, take care
