I too have asked for no cards or presents, although we are having 'to do Christmas for 3 grandchildren and their dad who are living with us at the moment. Our daughter died 3 weeks ago after a very short battle with cancer, the grandchildren seem to be coping well and we promised their mum we would make sure Christmas was as good as it could be, but it’s so very hard, all I want to do is hide and cry, they want to carry on as normal, not have grandma breaking down every 5 minutes.
