Coping with grief on Father's Day

As Father’s Day approaches, we know that you might be feeling a range of emotions if you’re grieving for your dad or someone who was like a father figure to you.

Grief is such an individual experience, and what feels right for one person might not feel right for you.

We have some advice on coping with Father’s Day and the lead-up to it, which might be helpful.

If you’re a parent, The Compassionate Friends at www.tcf.org.uk support families who have lost a child of any age. They have a grief companion scheme where you can get 1-1 support from another bereaved parent. You can also call them on 0345 123 2304.
